Aedifica
Earth. Engineers. Education. From foundations to futures

New Jersey is being rebuilt. Its builders are not.

The rebuild is already funded: transportation, airport expansion, resiliency, electrification, and public works across New Jersey and the New York metro region. Those projects need more than engineers and tradespeople. They need construction managers: the coordinators, estimators, schedulers, document-control professionals, safety leaders, and field supervisors who turn funding into finished work.

Why Aedifica exists

We build the builders New Jersey is counting on.

The construction-management workforce is aging out faster than it is being replaced. The curriculum pipeline still treats industry as an afterthought. And a growing population of capable, non-traditional scholars remains outside pathways designed for eighteen-year-olds.

Aedifica closes that gap. We build the missing pathway: from early STEM exposure to credentialed, employer-connected careers, designed from the jobsite backward, measured honestly, and connected to real advancement.

From foundations to futures.

The premise

Talent is everywhere, even when opportunity is not. The durable workforce New Jersey needs will be built from the talent the system overlooked, not in spite of it.

What we do

Aedifica builds construction-management pathways, and the people who walk them.

We serve two sides of one gap, and both are first-class audiences: the institutions building the pathway, and the scholars walking it. We start with middle-school students discovering how the built world works, and continue through high-school tracks, institutional pathway design, and adult bridge cohorts for people re-entering the workforce. We work through four channels: school districts, workforce boards and county colleges, employers, and vocational and trade schools, where we add a construction-management layer to programs they already run.

We build it for people the traditional route never picked up: students from under-resourced schools, first-generation families, career changers, veterans, caregivers returning to work, and justice-impacted adults. Access is a design requirement here, not an outreach afterthought. Programs are free to scholars, funded through institutional partners, and taught by working professionals in construction management and engineering.

Scholars leave with the vocabulary of scope, schedule, cost, safety, and quality; a credential that articulates; and a capstone validated by people who run real projects.

They also leave with something harder to report and just as deliberate: the confidence to hold their own in a room full of professionals, and a foothold in a field that has rarely made room for them.

Our approach

One disciplined pathway: from exposure to opportunity.

Field-built

Designed from the work, not the textbook

Curriculum carries named employer validators who confirm what we teach matches the work New Jersey general contractors are doing today.

Evidence-run

Measured by outcomes, not hours

Placement rate, credential attainment, wage at placement, and apprenticeship articulation, published with the same definitions, every cohort.

Partner-shaped

Built with institutions, not around them

Recruitment, fiscal capacity, and role definition stay with the partners who already do them well. Aedifica owns curriculum, instruction, and measurement. Where a vocational or trade school already trains the craft, we add the construction-management layer above it rather than a competing program.

Each program serves one stage for one audience, and hands off to the next. Curriculum without that hand-off is a class. Aedifica is designed to build a pathway.

Stage 01

Exposure

Career awareness and hands-on discovery in the built environment, beginning in middle school.

Stage 02

Skills

Construction-management thinking, technical fluency, and project literacy taught with classroom rigor.

Stage 03

Credentials

Industry-recognized credentials anchored by an employer-validated capstone, every time.

Stage 04

Opportunity

Interview commitments, apprenticeship articulation, and employer-connected placement.

The five programs
